CONTAF -TATA

Description

Contaf is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide from Tata Rallis, with the active ingredient **Hexaconazole 5% SC**. It offers protective, curative and antisporulant action — controlling a wide range of fungal diseases like sheath blight (in paddy), leaf spot, rust, blight, powdery mildew, fruit-rot, and more on crops including rice, cereals, vegetables, fruits, oilseeds and plantation crops.

Contaf works by inhibiting fungal sterol (ergosterol) biosynthesis — preventing development of fungal cell membranes, thus stopping fungal growth, spore formation and spread.

Application is via foliar spray: generally **2 ml per litre of water** (or as per local guidance) to ensure effective coverage.
